How to Use the Gratuity Calculator
Enter your last drawn basic salary plus dearness allowance, and your total years of service. The calculator instantly shows your estimated gratuity amount as per the Payment of Gratuity Act 1972. You can check gratuity for both covered and non-covered establishments.
Example Gratuity Calculation
If your last drawn basic + DA is Rs 50,000 and you have completed 15 years of service: your gratuity = 15 × 50,000 × 15 / 26 = Rs 4,32,692. Gratuity is calculated as: (Last drawn salary × Years of service × 15) / 26. The maximum tax-free gratuity under the Act is Rs 20,00,000 for private sector employees.
